Outfit help required.

Hello,
I'm off out on a very rare night out this weekend. It's a smart pub, with a large group (I knew a few people going) who've all been invited for birthday drinks. The thing is, there's someone going who I used to be friends with but we fell out a few years ago who's always right up there wearing the latest trends and is immaculately turned out. Anyway, I really want to look fab. I'm 40, not a follower of fashion, rarely wear make up and wash my hair quickly after cycling to work!! All advice appreciated.

You've got a fantastic figure.
The dress shows your good legs and the colour will mean you will be striking in the group. Not keen on the 2nd as it doesn't show you off.

The jumpsuits are a weird length and not as flattering as the dress.

It’s a pub so I’d wear the first jumpsuit with some chunky/ statement/ platform trainers and an awesome bag. I have a pair of block heel tiger print sandals that would also look great with that jumpsuit, but not for a pub.

Sorry I hate the khaki jumpsuit, your figure is lovely but the outfit is awful! The yellow dress is nice, maybe the other jumpsuit if you want to be more casual. Personally i’d Go with the dress but that’s because I feel most comfy in dresses

Jumpsuits are not flattering you and make you look boxy. Yellow Dre’s is heavy. Tan sandals, leather jacket, tortoiseshell hoops. Gorgeous.

Love the yellow dress. Could add a jacket if you want to dress down as in a pub?

The yellow dress is lovely.. just tan your arms as well.. arms should be darker than legs.

Khaki jumpsuit would be good with accessories and killer lips, it's a good neutral backdrop. I'd prefer it longer.

Seconds jumpsuit is the winner for me, easy to dress up or down, quite fashiony. I'd probably make the calves a bit tighter if I could be arsed getting the sewing machine out, but it's great.

By the way: 3/4 length jump suit is totally on trend as is the khaki one. Safari style is big this summer in tans and khaki. Definitely jazz up with chunky jewellery and great shoes. The yellow dress is good with a leather jacket but it’s not the most up to date dress in my opinion. I thought you were asking about a wedding when I first looked at it. You will look great in anything by the way!

The dress and second jumpsuit look great, the jumpsuit is more trendy (pattern, length etc). Hope you have fun.

The dress 100% = you look great in it. Could live with the khaki jumpsuit but not the second one - it's naff imo.

I love the khaki jumpsuit. I would wear with heels for the evening. Much more "killer" than the dress. Whilst you look great in it, it's much more a day dress, and pretty rather than sexy.

Khaki jumpsuit for me. Agree with pp, killer accessories and it will achieve what you want. Yellow dress is pretty but not 'wow' from a fashion point of view, more of a date night dress.

You look great in all outfits, but the dress is the best choice in my eyes.
