what's wrong with the other ongoing thread...this is at least thread number 3?

@Knitclubchatter not replacing old thread, this is just for the people that want to analyse royal news and talk freely. The other thread is more for polite, tea time/garden party/lady chatter about the royal fashion and bsbies.

There's a Royal Family section in the Other Stuff section that would probably be a better place for this thread, Humpty84.

I get why you've started this one in S&B OP, but it would be more suited to Chat.

With regards to the other one, ''can we not talk about this or that ...'' Really? I mean who butts in like that in RL and tries to police what a majority is happily chatting about? It's really crass and rude IMO.

Fashion is always the backbone of that thread and pops up as soon as there is anything actually new to discuss. It's natural to talk amongst yourselves while the main topic is in a lull.

The beauty of the other thread for me is that it does cross over across fashion and gossip. Like a normal convo would. It's why it's so long running. Policing it will be the death of it.

As the OP of the other threads I just wanted to say that I'm quite happy for everyone to carry on there as they were @Laiste.

It's not the content that puts me off, off topic or otherwise. It's when self appointed Thread Police come along disrupting the chat. We've had a good long stretch without Thread Police and it's got back to being pleasant again.

No worries everyone, I wasn’t trying to disrupt your other thread in anyway @queenoftheandals : I just wanted a place to speak my mind and for anyone els to without distracting or disrupting the other chatter. Seems I’m the only so will close this.

I'm not a fan of thread police coming along. I love the other thread and will still follow it but I do like to gossip about royals it's actually what they are there for without it they are obsolete and we won't pay for them!
