Show me your Short Acrylic Nails, please?!

Hello! I'm sick of my nails looking a mess so I've booked in for my first set of acrylic nails next week. I've had gel polish before but it only tends to last about a week on me. My nails break easily. I don't want long nails though, I'm not that keen on the look of long nails and I think they would drive me crazy/get in the way. I would love some idea, suggestions or inspiration for shorter acrylic nails or any pointers for a newbie getting their first set done. Any advice would be welcome and please show me pics of your lovely acrylic nails! Thanks.

Ask for acrylic overlay on your natural nails - no tips. It’ll add strength without length.

You could get SNS nails. It’s basically acrylic and on me doesn’t chip at all - just needs replacing when the growth starts to show.

Not acrylic but powder gel but it's the same principle . Shellac colour on top. Last 3 weeks

Thanks for your suggestions! Are SNS nails the same as the gel powder? My natural nails are all different lengths because they break so easily. Some are very short. Would it be best to have a short tip put on, if that's possible, or keep getting gel powder or SNS (?) until my natural nails are at the desired length?
