EBay button down summer dresses

I remember seeing people raving about these last summer but I never took the plunge.
The £8 ish ones with pockets.
Any advice on sizing? I'm a 12-14.

Hi, I bought 3 last summer, I wouldn't buy again.
I got a black one and the fabric feels like very rough linen, it's permanently creased and it's so scratchy feeling.
I got two printed ones and they are almost like swimsuit material! Very thick, stretchy, shiny. Very sweaty!
In all cases I find the gathering across the back quite itchy.

I ocassionally throw them on for a quick trip to the village shop, or if I'm expecting a delivery but I'm in holey Pjs, but wouldn't buy again. You can get much better quality for only a few £ more in new look

Oh that's a shame. I'm a sucker for anything with pockets.

Yep, I got one last summer. As Iced said, the material is weirdly thick and artificial, and they don’t fit at all like the picture. I’m tall but the waist is practically under my boobs! Such a shame as they look so pretty...

Mine may have come from a different seller, but I quite like them! The fabric is a bit cheap, but comfy, and they were a lovely length on me (I'm 5'2)

I bought one last summer. Material is thin and cheap looking, very crumpled and difficult to iron all the creases out. I stuck to my usual size and was fine.

i bought one just because i loved the fabric (sky blue with pineapples i think?) i am 5'2 size 10 and it was fine nothing special i used in the daytime - wasn't flattering enough for evening. good length for me (below knee). fabric is a sort of thick viscose. no ironing needed.

I thought the material was awful. Really horrible and cheap looking. I wore it twice and gave mine to the charity shop.

i liked the pattern, i meant, sorry, not the fabric.
fine for beach etc
