Shoes for Inbetween Seasons

So looking around today while wearing short Fitflop ankle boots it appears I missed the memo that winter was over. Flipflops, sandals, trainers etc seemed to be in abundance. However it feels wrong to be in sandals and white Converse just yet. What are your inbetweeny shoes, to wear with black or navy trousers?

I don’t own any trousers but with skinny jeans it’s either Timberland Nellies or Emu boots in the winter, Red or Dead ankle boots in autumn and spring then converse baseball boots and converse trainers as it gets warmer (now!) and flips flops or strappy sandals as soon as it’s 18° ish!!

I live in my Toms every spring. Lightweight, you don’t need socks, and all sorts of colours available. But not sure about them with black trousers...
