What do you wear for work in the summer?

Just moved jobs to a slightly more formal environment. Before I would have worn something like smart skinny Jean's, sandals and a smart top/tshirt or a tshirt dress if is is very hot. There is no dress code as such and a suit type outfit would definitely be overkill but I'm struggling for a middle ground that doesn't flash too much of my super pale skin.

Any suggestions? I'm 5ft1, size 8, pear shape, hate the tops of my arms so need short sleeves and have awful post-breastfeeding boobs that look fine with a tight top but nothing low-cut.

for tops Boden Ravello are quite good for work which I pair with a tailored pair of trousers. (or did til DH put the white one through a white hot wash! Hmm )

Layers, because our office air con is Baltic.

But seriously, something like slim trousers, crisp white t shirt or silky top and a blazer. Or a skirt with a silky top, or a sleeveless or short sleeved dress with a blazer.
