Non chip nail varnish for toes

I am total newbie to nail varnish, I usually just go bare but I am thinking about putting a bit of colour on my nails this summer. What is good for doing at home that doesn't chip and looks good?

I like OPI polishes. Any will do as long as you use a base & top coat. I like OPI rapid dry or Sally Hansen mega shine. Don't get gels etc...they ruin your nails

CND Vinylux is great, you need to buy the top coat separately but lasts very well.
