Long tops and t-shirts

I'm short of leg and large up top and all my t-shirts seem to leave a bit of flabby tummy uncovered.
Going to hit eBay for some t-shirts - what brands are long in the tummy/front/overall?

Tall Dorothy Perkins has sale on and summer tops in sale now

Hush often come out long in the body

drspouse · 24/04/2019 09:32

I have some uniqlo but they are often quite thin fabric. I might have a look at Hush on Ebay (would prefer to buy used for reasons of planet and pocket).

I've recently bought some from Peacocks, H&M as well

What size are you? If you’re 14 or above look for the exclusively plus size brands (Evans, Simply Be, Yours and so on). They know their customers want to cover their hips and bums so the tops and T-shirts are generally cut a bit longer.

Branleuse · 24/04/2019 09:53

i was in tesco yesterday and they had loads of long tshirts and vests.
Also primark definitely does them too

drspouse · 24/04/2019 11:17

I'm a busty 12 but I find the plus size are just a bit too generous even in their smallest size.

I saw loads of oversized t shirts in h&m the other day, all looked like they were a decent length. It pleased me greatly as last summer the shops were full of cropped t shirts which I'm too old and fat for.

pinkcardi · 24/04/2019 13:49

M&S do longline vest tops. I'm wearing one today, decent quality fabric and a good length, almost too long on me (5ft 7)

drspouse · 24/04/2019 14:30

Aaargh looking at longline stuff on Ebay - it's all tunic style which will make me look even shorter due to cutting off my legs!
I have no idea what I want any more!

Second the M&S recommendation, I have a few relaxed longline tops from there and they are nice slouchy fit

hugoagogo · 24/04/2019 19:07

Maybe you need high waisted trousers?

drspouse · 24/04/2019 20:10

Those lead to automatic muffin top sadly!
