Help mumsnetters - does anyone know what this brilliant spot cream was?

Years and years ago my GP in the UK prescribed an amazing topical spot cream for me - it was a white creamy lotion and you applied it to the skin with quite a big roller ball out of a white bottle - the ball was like maybe about 2 to 3 cm diameter across - anyway it was brilliant. One dab/roll across the area at night and next day the spot was gone. I'm now living outside the UK and doubt I could get the name of it from anywhere - can't remember my old GP's name even. I think I used to get script fulfilled at Boots...

Does anyone by any chance recognize what this product might be - would love to ask my GP here if it's available? Thanks in advance for any suggestions! (Menopausal spots!)

Hmmm. Zinyert was my initial thought but it was stinky clear solution. Similar bottle though.

Diprobase is a squirty bottle.

Dalacin T possibly, it’s normally a white bottle but it’s more of a pad than a roller

FiremanKing · 21/04/2019 22:02

Probably no longer made as the rollerball would be unhygienic as would transfer bacteria from your face back into the bottle.

I don’t recall this but I did have Zineryt which always worked for a couple of weeks then tailed off then you had to get a new one before the old one had run out.

Update: It was dalacin T - thank you! I went to the docs and she was happy to prescribe it. Just one warning note - I think this one has been indicated in antibiotic resistance so I think doctors will only prescribe it if your skin is pretty bad which mine was, almost overnight. It's made a big difference and I hope to stop using it soon. Also going to look at changing my hrt as I think it's hormone related too.
