Perfume

I have always used quite subtle perfumes but the new man in my life seems to like something more obvious and lasting. Do not want anything cheap and nasty but would like to find something more powerful and long lasting . any suggestions?

I'd suggest he buys you the full Tom Ford range Grin

A Thierry Mulger.
Ultimate long- lasting and unforgettable.
Try 'Angel'.
I also love Dior 'Addict' and scent lasts and lasts.

Channel Noir

Definitely try it for a day as a tester though as heavy perfumes make me feel physically sick towards the end of the day and it would be a shame if you bought the full bottle and found the same...

Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna is great

NabooThatsWho · 21/04/2019 14:05

What kind of scents do you like OP? Sweet? Fresh? Unisex? Oriental?

Sakura7 · 21/04/2019 14:07

Do you like heavier perfumes OP? I wouldn't wear something just to please a man tbh, you need to enjoy it yourself.

In answer to the question, I like Chanel Coco (original, not mademoiselle) and CK Euphoria.

My favourite heavy ooh what’s that lovely smell scent is Do Son by Diptyque. It’s tubereuse, really rich and lovely, and lasts ages on me.

HaventGotAllDay · 21/04/2019 14:11

Tell him you wear perfume for yourself, not for him.
What do you usually wear? If you tell us, we can perhaps suggest something similar, but richer.
(I'd still tell him to fuck off, mind)

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 21/04/2019 14:16

Ajmal Shadow
Chanel Gabrielle
Swiss Arabian Noora

My signature scent though is Coco Mademoiselle.

CountFosco · 21/04/2019 22:27

I'd be tempted to be evil and go for non-man pleasing perfumes. What about Nuit de Bakelite. Has a strong germoline note and best tuberose I've smelt. Fascinating and gets a lot of love on the perfumista threads but NSFW and not a man pleaser.

To be more serious, wear what you love.

Thanks so much ,girls. I will start working my way through the testers and see what reaction I get!
