Where to find maxi dresses

Hi everyone

I'm going on holiday next month and currently feeling really self conscious because I have put on a lot of weight. I like the idea of maxi dresses for my holiday as I prefer not to show my legs. Has anyone seen any nice maxi dresses that are not expensive and would flatter a larger figure?

Thanks!

xx

Roman originals do some lovely maxi dresses. I have this one that I love wearing, and my mum loves buying a few new ones every year.

Those dresses look beautiful. I've not shopped at Roman before. Thank you

Also try Monsoon.

Thanks for your responses. I haven't found anything yet - I tried on a few yesterday but the material was quite clingy and my stomach is the worst area and it looked awful. I have big boobs so strapless doesn't work but I think I need something that has a quite floaty skirt to hide my stomach a bit. Starting to dread the holiday really, I look awful :(

I'm going shopping today for a maxi dress to hide my mum tum, I'll let you know if I find anything flattering.

Sorry no luck! I saw some nice mint velvet ones but not in my budget, and I couldn't try any in monsoon as the changing rooms were not pram friendly but there were a few there.

Try Matalan in the holiday section. I get a lot of holiday stuff from there (I love their playsuits)

(Meant to say I have some nice maxi dresses from previous years but not looked this year)

The supermarkets generally have some good ones and I’ve just got one with flower straps from ASOS.

Size down to avoid massive flouncy pregnancy look is my maxi dress tip.

ASDA has a really nice flattering comfy patterned jumpsuit too in jersey material for about £12 I think

This one was nice, might order it, I was just hoping for a v neck!

I had a look at Matalan online and there wasn't anything I loved but I will have a look in store.

Has anyone ever bought anything from Boohoo? They have a few nice dresses but I'm not sure what they're sizes are like and whether they come up small or not?

xx
