Looking for good leggings

Exactly that really...Looking for a pair of good quality black leggings that are thick enough that you can't see my underwear through! Happy to spend up to about £20 for a decent pair, any recommendations?

Borden are perfect.

Boden!

River Island

M&S do a pair with a thick waist and at the top. They have a seam down the front and are v thick. I love them

WokenUp · 20/04/2019 17:16

*waistband.

Mint velvet are the best I've found (and I've tried a lot!!!)

Sainsbury's! The wider waistband ones, they are amazing, fit well, aren't see through and hold a little bit of belly! They have 25% off at the moment.

I absolutely love the hush ones. Very thick, dont bag out. Only thing is that they are pretty long. I am 5ft6 and they a bit ruched on me at the bottom. They do have cropped ones which i will probably buy as they will be perfect in length. White stuff have also really good ones.

Loubyloulou88 · 20/04/2019 19:28

That's great! Thanks for the suggestions, I'll take a look!

Mint velvet - better than boden or sea salt.
Uniqlo are also good.

notapizzaeater · 20/04/2019 19:40

The posh Sainsbury's ones are thick and dense.

Loubyloulou88 · 20/04/2019 19:44

Was just looking at the reviews for the boden ones, lots of great reviews and people seem to have worn them for years, but seems they had some quality issues in the last year, do any of the boden fans know if that's been sorted? Wouldn't want to order them if they're still a bit sketchy 🤔

Sorry to jump on your thread, but can anyone recommend petite leggings (same criteria as OP for quality)? I'm 5ft.

Lurking, I need new black leggings .

I have M&S and Sainsbury . Most recent was a Sainsbury Ponte legging which was thicker , with a seam at the front and slightly more tregging like.

Uniqlo are not good IME , my DD is a tiny size 6 (so not straining the seams ) she had two pairs . Black were see-through, grey got a hole in them. Not impressed .

I will look at Mint Velvet I reckon.
