Feminine trainers for pretty dresses?

I walk everywhere. I have a very feminine style (think knee length tea dresses and tights) and am short and fat and not all that fashionable or trendy.

Could someone suggest some comfortable trainers/trainer type shoes that wouldn't look rediculous please? I tend to wear ballet pumps or similar but am fed up of achy feet.

Hate sketches as they always end up smelly.

Budget about £50. :)

I think Toms-esque shoes look good with dresses. Anything plimsoll like is also nice. Personally think lace-ups are the reason it doesn’t look quite right so would avoid anything that laces up.

I'm very tempted by those rose gold ones - what is sizing like, I'm a standard 7 with wide feet would I just order a seven?

I went to try on some gazelles today but the shops were crazy so I couldn't be bothered to mess about. I ended up getting some blowfish galea because the insoles felt very spongy but now I've got them home they are too big and may not be that comfy afterall.

And after all my anti converse, I got some converse ox because unlike the other converse they had very spongy insoles. They are heavy though and may need breaking in. They'll be best with trousers I think as they are quite clunky.

I have white converse, which I'm pretty sure were called 'dainty' so not the standard clompy clowns feet ones, but just a more dainty bit of rubber around them. I find the normal ones make my feet look a size bigger, which you don't want with tea dresses. Adidas superstars are also nice with dresses.

Adidas Superstar in Rose Gold are pretty. I think the rose gold keeps them looking dressier/trendier than most trainer shoes.
