Some casual trousers
Top to go with trousers
A day dress
A skirt

Trainers
I also have wide feet 🙄

Any help would be very appreciated

Sounds like a job for asos!

I've just bagged every item of my clothes and took them to charity or the carboot.

I've ordered an entire new wardrobe called a capsule wardrobe.

The idea is to have under 50 articles of clothing, including shoes and outerwear.

The main staple colours are grey, black and white. Then choose two or three accent colours (mine are red, green and navy)
Then two or three patterns or print. (Mine are striped and floral)

I have 4 long sleeve swing tops in black white, grey and red striped.
4 tshirts in grey, black, navy and white.
3 vests, one striped, two plain.
Two nice tops one red with lace feature, one black with daisy print
3 pairs of jeans/leggings.
2 floral tops, one more gor going out, other is casual.
Three jumpers, one red, one green striped and one green solid.
One chunky cardigan
One light cardigan for summer
One short thin trench coat that is good for spring/summer but can also be layered underneath with said cardigan.
Three pairs of flat shoes, one red 'posh' pair, one grey peep toe flats, black flats for work.
One pair of navy converse caps.

I kept my running trainers, kept my gym gear and work clothes. Also kept a few summery dresses that I already had in my chosen colours and also kept two or three dresses for occasions e.g weddings.

That is my entire wardrobe. I had thousands of clothes that never matched so I was constantly digging around looking for stuff. I hated it. I literally feel like a weight has been lifted.

The number 1 idea is it can all mix and match no matter what you pick up in the morning.

Apples are usually well served by a) Wallis and b) Next.

Wallis is doing very very nice shoes this year and Next always do good shoes.

Also never discount New Look for shoes as they do brilliant up to date shoes in a wide fitting.

TwinkleMerrick · 19/04/2019 18:30

I also have wide feet and find Clark's wide fit shoes comfy. I wait until the sales to get a bargain x

IAmNotPatientOrPregnant · 19/04/2019 18:30

Agree with above poster. Dont discount new loonfoe words for shoes.

I dont have wide feet, but found the most stunning pair of shoes in new look only a 4 in wide fit, so I risked it!

Look at my beauties!

Anyone fancy helping me find a few items?

New look seem to have stopped doing size 9s now though and when I've found the odd pair they're now a 42 not a 43 like they used to be.

What sort of jacket? For spring I wear a denim jacket over dresses, a joules coast jacket for rainy days, a shortish trench for work and a blazers for going out.

Lucked · 19/04/2019 18:37

Sandals birds arizonas or saltwaters
Trainers supergas are wide

Petalflowers · 19/04/2019 18:40

apple

Just been introduced to this blogger. She does advice depending on body shape, using high street stores rather than expensive stores, such as New Look, m and s, next etc.

Petalflowers · 19/04/2019 18:41

Sainsbury has a 25% sale on and a wide range of clothes.

lasttimeround · 19/04/2019 19:18

Maybe a bit more detail op. What sort of style? Colours? Pattern? Maybe if you gave idea of one item (say the jacket, trousers or trainers) we could build the rest to go with that

iamH · 19/04/2019 19:27

I'm 5'5 and 47

I was thinking maybe a biker or denim jacket.
Trainers white ??
I did try saltwater sandals but my feet are to wide.
I was thinking a casual Harem/ jogger?

Asos, Dune and River Island have good fit shoe options.

ZazieTheBruce · 19/04/2019 19:31

Wide fit!

lasttimeround · 19/04/2019 20:13

Ok I'll try

Trousers www.next.co.uk/g72770s6#339523
Olive is useful and different to denim navy black without showing up all the dirt like white or lighter summer trousers

Dress www.next.co.uk/g7231s13#320381
Whatever colour you fancy, personally I stick to plain much more versatile. They do a couple if other styles if simple easy dresses like this but this one has sleeves and looks roomy.

Top www.next.co.uk/g8278s4#924424
Should go with just about anything. Looks like the finish and buttons lift it a bit

Skirt www.next.co.uk/g8224s19#637450

Chuck in the white trainers shes wearing. And maybe these instead of sandals www.next.co.uk/g82170s10#308226
And all you need is a denim jacket

I'm waiting to be told how boring I am...

iamH · 19/04/2019 20:25

@lasttimeround I actually love everything you have picked out apart from the skit.

Thank you

Hooray!

lasttimeround · 19/04/2019 20:37

Some tan sandals would be nice too. But finding sandals depends on what you want and your feet so much. There was a sandals thread with some nice suggestions in lots of different directions and brands I'd never heard of. But next do nice shoes too.

FleurNancy · 19/04/2019 20:56

Simply Be have a good selection of wide fitting shoes, including a pair of white trainers which I wear with everything.

Kaz2200 · 20/04/2019 06:37

I cannot recommend highly enough the Ruth Langsford denim jacket on qvc. Very flattering, but lots of stretch so really comfortable.

Kaz2200 · 20/04/2019 06:41

Just looked and not in stick on qvc, there is one on ebay though.

Lucked · 20/04/2019 10:43

With harem pants it depends on how apple you are. I am apple and can wear them now my weight is at the upper end of a healthy weight but now whilst overweight as that sat on my widest point.
