Morning all. Am looking for recommendations. I'm 41 with pretty rubbish skin and every year I buy a high factor spf for my face but end up looking like an oil slick. What does everyone use? What is OK under make up too?

Another one for frezyderm velvet face sunscreen 50.

It doesn't feel like a sunscreen at all. More like a primer. It's amazing. I'm a pale redhead and haven't burnt yet with it even in Spain

I second the Bodyshop sunscreen. I used to use the Biore but Im pretty sure I got a copy rather than the real thing at least once.

The Bodyshop sunscreen is intended to be a copy of the lightweight Korean sunscreens and is very successful at that. It is SpF 50 and is the only sunscreen which does not give me breakouts, plus I know I am getting the real thing.

I use Jason Kids SPF45. Would recommend!

Sali Hughes mentioned on Instagram she was doing an updated sunscreen guide in The Guardian soon.

I’ve been using a Nivea Sun Q10 anti-age and anti-pigment Cream since last year. It’s 0% white residue and I don’t find it too greasy and I still suffer with spots occasionally. I switched from LRP and Ultrasun as I found them too greasy and the pilling under make up was awful.

I tried the Frezyderm velvet skin one but I hate the feeling of silicone on my skin, it always feels noticeably heavy or claggy or something.

Ultrasun sensitive.
