Waxing and period today.

Ok I am going on holiday tomorrow and booked an appointment weeks in advance for a half leg and bikini line wax for today at lunchtime. I get up this morning and my period has started. Of 30 days in the month it picks today to start! I felt the PMT symptoms but was praying it wouldn't start to afterwards but it has.

I am going on holiday tomorrow and need to have it done and if I cancel I will end up paying for it anyway at late notice. At the minute it is just staining not anything heavy. What should I do and if I go will it be really painful?

Use a tampon and tuck the string in slightly

Wear a tampon and maybe give the beautician a heads up but explain it's light. Take a paracetamol half an hour before to help with the pain!

I've had this. They are fine with it just wear a tampon and tell her it's just started, that's the etiquette apparently.

And yes, painkillers beforehand
