Sally Hansen airbrush legs

I was walking through Boots earlier and noticed a display of Sally Hansen airbrush leg spray. This stuff has been around for years but I've never used it, so was wondering if it's any good?

It's excellent. Best applied with a tanning mitt.

Daffodil2018 · 18/04/2019 18:51

It’s great. I use it every summer. Get the waterproof one in case it rains!

MistyMinge · 18/04/2019 18:55

I'm a real fan too. Quick and easy to apply. Can't be arsed with other fake tans. I use it a lot in the summer. I'd recommend using a mitt too.

jimmychoux · 18/04/2019 19:52

Sounds good then. I even have a tanning mitt so I think I will give it a try.

I think I will try the light shade, my legs are beyond pale.

It’s amazing - I always get compliments when I wear it!

jimmychoux · 18/04/2019 19:56

Silly question but do you put it on your feet as well as legs? Which shade do you all use?

I use the lightest one - my legs are naturally pale blue - and yes blend it out over your feet.

jimmychoux · 18/04/2019 20:21

Thanks Alsohuman. I think the lightest option will be the safest for my super white legs.

I'm going against the grain here as I hated it. It was streaky and really hard to get to look nice. I found it made my legs look muddy. I think it's lots of effort for something which washes off (and rubs off onto clothes - don't wear white!).

I get much better results using products like Fake Bake Sport/Dove Summer Glow or pretty much any gradual tanning lotion.

nothingwittyhere · 18/04/2019 20:23

Give it time to dry. It seems to go on very orange but it dries to a much more natural colour.

SandrasAnnoyingFriend · 18/04/2019 21:18

Love it. The colour is the main appeal but I really love the way it perfects skin tone. My legs look like a Barbie dolls!

MandarinM15 · 18/04/2019 21:45

I love it. Rarely got my legs out until I started using it.

MoorMummy · 18/04/2019 22:04

I’m v pale but none of the colours are good on me. Even the light one

Backseatonthebus · 18/04/2019 22:09

I'm another one who really didn't like it. Too thick and solid looking on my fair skin, it appeared very fake on me. For light cover I prefer Rimmel sun shimmer, for more coverage Vita Liberata is good (but expensive).

RuggyPeg · 19/04/2019 06:56

I love it and use the darkest colour, even though I'm virtually see through naturally!

TSSDNCOP · 19/04/2019 07:00

I’ve used it for years. Spray onto the mitt rather than straight onto legs. Start at the top an sweep down to feet. It always gets compliments fir me too.

Bluntness100 · 19/04/2019 07:01

I used it years ago, and it is fine, but there are way better products on the market now

I use st tropez fake tan, you apply it just the same, you get an express one, and can get light colour, you can wash off after an hour and it's fully developed, and you don't end up with brown stains on your clothes or it running in the rain or with sweat. And it looks more natural than the Hansen one which is like a make up.
