CC cream recommendations

Hi, can anyone recommend a CC cream please? I have quite pale skin if that makes a difference.

I'm currently using Bourjois and like it a lot but wondering what else is out there that's worth trying. I have heard good things about Chanel and IT Cosmetics.

I use IT cosmetics CC cream in SPF40 in Fair Light, it lasts all day and gives full coverage. My skin looks great.

Thank you. I have heard good things about that one so will check it out.

I use IT Matte one in Light, love it and I just bought DD the illuminating one. Makes her skin glow, looks so nice. She is pale and I got fair as that’s more yellow toned and the fair light is pink toned.

I prefer double wear light personally. The IT cosmetics CC cream is very very full coverage, not at all like a normal CC cream. It also seems very orange.

ZaraW · 18/04/2019 16:02

It definitely doesn't look orange on me.

PCohle · 18/04/2019 16:06

Sorry I didn't mean any offence, I'm sure it looks lovely on many people - it is very popular after all!

musicmum75 · 18/04/2019 18:44

Thanks all. I have the IT under eye concealer and it's quite a heavy coverage so I was wondering if the CC was the same.

I use the mark (avon) cc cream as its spf 50 and helps with skin redness. The bottle isn't very big but the cream itself is nice, works well and is usually on sale

Popuppippa · 18/04/2019 20:11

Where can you test the IT Cosmetics CC cream? I have wasted so much money on foundations and primers that I really want to test this out in person.

Juancornetto · 18/04/2019 21:11

After reading your title I opened the thread to jump in and say Bourjois Grin

musicmum75 · 18/04/2019 22:26

Ha! Maybe I should stick with what I know then. Wink

Popuppippa I don’t know about testers but you can buy it through QVC and get a full refund if you don’t like it. You do still have to pay P&P both ways though.

I have the Chanel one and it is lovely, doesn't go clumpy on me like many foundations do but gives some coverage

BlueSatsuma · 18/04/2019 22:55

Jane Iredale best ever!

ZaraW · 19/04/2019 05:46

I've just seen a You Tube video and the Chanel CC cream looks really good. The IT cosmetics is full coverage so it's quite heavy.

Housewife2010 · 19/04/2019 06:16

IT Cosmetics is sold in Boots. I use Fair which works well on my NC20 skin. I like light coverage bases ( I usually use Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue and in the Summer I like Glossier Skin Tint) .It Cosmetics CC is my highest coverage base; I use one pump blended with a damp Beauty Blender for natural coverage.

The YSL CC Creme is incredible. I haven’t worn foundation in about a year because of this . Simultaneously manages to give a lovely glow, looks light & fresh but also has coverage. Also has SPF 35. Colour I use is ‘apricot’ which sounds scary but is beautiful. Usually the YSL counters are brilliant for giving out really decent testers for you to try. Might be worth asking next time you’re passing?
