I am looking for a clothes rail (garment rail). I have had one in the past that fell to bits. Does such a thing exist which is built to last?

My daughter has this one in white, White is out of stock but it’s very solid and strong www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-partners-clothes-rail/p181684

I’ve had this one for a few years and it’s seriously strong and sturdy.

I think I got it after a recommendation on here actually. I was a bit hesitant because I wanted something a bit prettier, but actually it’s very unobtrusive.

Very easy to put together, literally 10 minute job. It holds a ridiculous amount of clothes. It’s one of my best purchases actually, absolute bargain.

You can buy commercial quality ones online at places like Shopfitting Warehouse. Massive difference in quality.

I have one from ikea. It's great.

Get an industrial one they use in dry cleaners and shops etc if you want it to last .. they are a few hundred pound but will last for years ( experience )

I bought one years ago from Muji which looks great and is pretty sturdy. I imagine they still do similar.

There's a really good Amazon Basics one we have that has lasted really well and isn't wobbly like most of them are and was really easy to put together as an added bonus. www.amazon.co.uk/AmazonBasics-Garment-Rack-Bottom-Shelves/dp/B07997MYD6/ref=asc_df_B07997MYD6/?hvlocphy=1007110&linkCode=df0&hvptwo&psc=1&psc=1&hvnetw=g&hvadid=309862953042&hvpone&hvlocint&th=1&hvpos=1o1&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl&hvqmt&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&hvtargid=pla-472959526215&hvrand=1303552493820396747 - don't know if that link will work but "amazon basics garment rail" bought it up - the top and bottom shelf parts seem to make it much more stable than just the simple ones. It's gone up a bit in price since we bought ours though.

I had an Ikea Riggs which lasted well for two years and then I passed it on via gumtree when I moved house - definitely worth the £14 I paid for it!
