Is my hair wonky?

Had a dry cut yesterday. Is one side longer? Is it that bad I need to go back or is it the style?

I said I wanted it one length

It does look wonky, sorry.
I would go back.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 17/04/2019 09:04

It looks like your right side is longer but it could be that it's just fallen forward a bit. If you're not happy I'd go back and ask them to even it up a bit.

missmouse101 · 17/04/2019 09:06

Beautiful hair but it does look a little longer on one side. Do go back OP.

Cloverisover · 17/04/2019 09:09

Ooh you have nice hair! I wish mine would sit so nicely. But yes, one side is quite clearly longer than the other. If it's just that bit at the front I'd just lop it off myself but it would probably be more sensible to go back to the hairdresser.

NoMoreBump · 17/04/2019 09:11

I think that photo is actually kinder to the situation.

I went to have a pee this morning looked in the mirror and said 'WTF' outloud

My hair curls when wet so I think she sprayed it to cut it and it had shrunken up so I didn't notice the difference.
I straightened it last night after a shower but didn't look in the mirror

Hmm

I think I'll do it myself...

Princessfaffalot · 17/04/2019 09:21

I love the colour! Please don’t do it yourself, go back!

ShagMeRiggins · 17/04/2019 09:21

I think I'll do it myself...

Yes. What could possibly go wrong? Hmm

NoMoreBump · 17/04/2019 09:27

Thanks. I did the colour myself from brown and blue :)

It's literally the one piece at the front and it will cost me a fiver to go back. Am pretty skint this week (haircut was a Groupon purchased last month)

It shouldn't cost you anything to get fixed: it's their mistake! (Unless you mean transport costs?)

NoMoreBump · 17/04/2019 09:36

Yes transport.

I've just straitened it properly and it's so noticeable.

I'm going to have to go back :(

Grrr

OK am going to go back

Don't think I can sort it myself. Grrrr

Phone them and explain and they might refund your travel expenses for getting back as goodwill. Especially if they think you will go back regularly..,

NoMoreBump · 17/04/2019 10:08

I'm not that bold Blush

I'll just go back see what they say

The exact same thing happened to a colleague once and when she returned the stylist told her that it was her ‘trademark’ to have one side slightly longer than the other!

I like it like that, it gives it a more modern/edgy look!

wonderpants · 17/04/2019 10:34

Did she part it in a different place and the long bit was cut to go on the other side?

NoMoreBump · 17/04/2019 13:28

It's not trendy it's just messed up.

I went back. Stylists day off.

They fixed it. Said I might have been sat wonky Hmm

Anyways it's even now. :)

Ah it’s amazing! Looks in really good condition too!

NoMoreBump · 18/04/2019 06:06

Thankyou.

I had to have the ends tried off. About 2 inches but I planned on that anyway so worked out well x
