Help - I don't know what to wear when!!!!

I am 52 this year and still have no idea what to wear anywhere! I'm 5ft tall (small) size 14 (with size 16 thighs) and a 34g bra. Little and plump I guess. I hate all the clothes I have. I try not to spend too much so end up with a series of random stuff that doesn't go together. I hate everything in my wardrobe. I feel I would like to wear classic styles but also a bit quirky. Can anyone help me???? Thanks all.

Start a Pinterest board with clothes that you like the look of. That will give you some pointers of the kind of look you are trying to pull together. Are there any people in the public eye with a style you like?

I never thought about Pinterest. I could give it a go. I can't honestly say ooh I like how so and so looks because I don't even notice. I like the Boden look but it's far too expensive for me. Any hints on cheaper versions? Did I say I also dislike shopping!!!

You can recreate looks that you like on a smaller budget, just start looking at people with a similar shape to you and see what you like. Then shop to recreate the look. Are you after work wear, casual or evening outfits?

gotmychocolateimgood my whole life needs a revamp! (Sorry can't work out how to embolden your username). So, if i start with going to a naice pub for food on a Wednesday night with a gf. I'm think I can go with jeans and matelot top but what do I put on my feet? What jacket?

How about going to John Lewis and booking a stylist? I don't think you have to buy anything. It would help work out what suits you.

My mum has mentioned that before but I'd forgotten about it. I nearly picked up some random tops from tk max today but I resisted and put them back.
