Soooo, just tried the measurement thing - 32 (so 36) and 35 makes me -A!! Help!

I make that a 32c but I could be wrong?

ilovecherries · 16/04/2019 11:51

That’s a 32C ish. You don’t need to add 4.

SouthWestmom · 16/04/2019 11:51

Oh? I read that you measure, add 4 or 5 and then the difference is the cups? So confused.

No, you don’t add. That’s a hangover from the days when a D cup was considered large, so women had to keep going up a back size to get them to fasten. Also bras were cotton without stretch. M&S still does this, but it’s unnecessary. What you measure is what you measure.

Oh ok, weird. I was like I've never seen a minus cup!

Might just go and try a load on.

If you measure 32 under bust then that is your back size. 3 inches difference = C cup.
(Your measurements just gives another reason as to why the 'add extra inches' thing doesn't work!)

Thank you. Will start with 32C
