In Japan - what beauty must haves???

Been here 2 weeks, 1 week left and am blow away by all the beauty stuff here.

Any recommendations?

I have sensitive/combination/old skin and only use organic stuff (of which there is tonnes of here).

Thanks.

Perhaps report your post to Mumsnet HQ and ask for it to be moved to Style & beauty OP.

Hi there OP,

We're gonna move this to Style and Beauty for you now.

A few recommendations for you also Smile I'm not sure if any of these are organic to be honest, but they might be helpful if anyone else is going.

Biore SPF50+ Watery Essence

The K Palette felt tip eyeliners - I bought it in the shade "extra black" and it was by far the best eyeliner I've ever used
YuBe Moisturising Cream
DHC Cleasing Oil or the cheaper Kose Cleasing Oil

If you're into it, make sure to go to a Jazz bar too OP - have a wonderful trip!

Camillia Oil is great on dry hair.

thenightsky · 17/04/2019 13:56

Oh yes, Biore watery essence. It takes forever to come from amazon.

Gentle steam eye mask by MegRhythm for the flight, train or sleep. They’re beautifully aromatic and heat up to sooth your eyes. I like the lavender steam eye mask most.

Ecolovista shampoo and conditioner is really good and is made in Japan. I got it from the beauty section in Loft which is one of my favourite Japanese shops.

Thanks all! I dragged the family through Harajuku to an eco cafe - found a serum by 'Supmile' seems lovely so far.

I love the look of the dHC oil but it has a few ingredients I usually avoid?

I love it here, like, reaalllly love it..

Canmake cream blusher - super cheap but great colour and doesn’t break me out. I wish I’d bought several now as can’t find it online
Heroine mascara - but you need a good eye make up remover!
DHC do nice tinted lip balms
DHC also did a premium brand - golden olive leaf or something. One of the hotels we stayed in had it. Lovely stuff and can’t seem to find it in UK

If you’re near Tokyo Hands store they had nice bath salt sachets
Oh and Muji for socks!

My only regret from my Japan holiday was not buying more stuff! I loved it so much.
