Grey hair

I have light brown hair which is just past my shoulders. I have noticed a few more grey hairs appearing and now wondering how to cover them. Do I just go as close to my natural colour as possible or shall I start to go lighter? I was blonde a few years ago and my mum has kept going blond so the grey seems to blend in more but I know it is more up keep. What do you think would be best? Many thanks

Probably a half head of highlights with a couple of light colours to blend the greys. You’re lucky your hair isn’t dark brown! 😁

I know! I used to be dark brown but when I spotted the odd grey I stopped so I wouldn’t have to keep that up. Looking back I looked a bit goth like Confused

hmm i also have this dilemma sadly. I have quite a few near my temples. I'm mousy brown with highlights, but they still show through, particularly if i wear my hair up

Hmm I do wear my hair up a lot. I wonder if an all over colour is the best way as well as some highlights

Balayage highlights work well for me.

Overall colour is a total pig to maintain....

Good point. May hair grows quite fast too. I like the look of balayage though

Or you could just let the grey shine?
