Jeans help

I’m desperate for a new pair of jeans and looking for recommendations please. I’m 54, 5’3” and size 12 - chunky thighs and a bit pear-shaped but smallish waist. I’ve been wearing skinny jeans from Next but I’m not really sure if they suit me. I’m not keen on bootleg. Would slim leg or Mom jeans be better? Any particular brand?

Small at the waist, loose on the thighs, tapering adds length and they would not be short on you as they are in the model as she is a lot taller.

I am a similar shape, but bigger (5’8”, size 14/16) and have just bought some Girlfriend jeans from Sainsbury’s. Very similar to the Asos ones linked above. I really like them.

Thanks Palominoo and Bike. I like the look of the ASOS ones - I think the shape might be more flattering than skinny.
