Hello, I've bought this dress to wear to a wedding reception in June when I'll be 7 months pregnant. Shoe-wise I was thinking of a block-heeled sandal - not too high or too strappy in case my feet and ankles are a bit puffy by then. Not sure whether to go for a neutral (tan or nude) or a contrasting bright colour to make it a bit more fun. Any suggestions? Budget around £50.

I think neutral and low block heel, the dress is pretty, you'll get loads of wear out of them both then over the rest of summer.

When I was 7mo pregnant I only wanted comfy shoes but these days the celebs all seem to totter about in heels no probs. Maybe they have taxis/drivers/butlers though!

Ha ha, no butler or chauffeur here, but might be able to stretch to a taxi for the evening! I thought a small heel would make me feel slightly less like a weeble Grin

I would check out New Look. They have loads of shoes, and last summer had so many low/mid block heeled sandals in loads of different colours. Very comfortable for the price. They also do wide fit which you might need by then.

@princessbear80 New Look was a great call. What do we think of these?
I think I like the rose gold best and I have a rose gold clutch I could use, but does it go with the dress?

I prefer the ones on the left but will they be comfy if your ankles swell ( not to assume everyone has the fat ankles I did when pregnant!). So the other fastenings may be better.

@Orchidflower1 good point - I could well have cankles by then. Hmm the search continues...

I quite like these from River Island... bit unsure about the flared heel but in practical terms could be good!
