black tie ball- leopard print

Hi, looking for some advice. got a black tie ball coming up, and have a long leopard print dress already, would that be suitable?

I think it depends what sort of black tie ball it is and how old you are. I’ve never worn a leopard print to a ball or seen it worn but I’ve tended to go to fairly formal events. I’d think of it as more party wear.

I wouldn’t wear animal print to a black tie, unless it was a not-so formal affair? Ie friends holding black tie drinks rather than an awards evening etc.

When you say 'long', is it full length? Because I think only a full length gown is suitable if it explicitly says black tie.

Totally depends on the dress, material type, shape, whether it looks expensive etc but on the whole, probably not.
