Date outfit for walk....

This sounds a bit naff but I've been asked out on a very casual date for a walk in the park. I'm so used to dinners and drinks so not really sure what to wear. How does skinny black jeans, Chelsea boots, low cut jumper and coat sound? Is that too OTT or should I be in Converses. I really don't know what casual is as I tend to dress up or look like a slobby mum!

@8FencingWire yes just a coffee and walk in the park I believe, unless horrified and then he might run off post coffee....

@HollyBollyBooBoo no rain at all so no brolly required. I want to take the teeniest bag as I'm so used to taking my giant nappy bag around

I think that's fine, but would add a nice-ish scarf. What colour and style is your coat?

My coat would be a long calf length blush pink. I have a nice bobble scarf from White Company in silver? Or Orla Kiehly one but not sure colours would go?

The silver one sounds great, although with a pink coat I might be tempted to wear a more neutral jumper like black or charcoal grey.

@Secretlifeofme also have a camel coat but then was thinking too many colours. The jumper is nice on me and I haven't worn it much out....

If the pink of the jumper and the pink of the coat go well together, I think you should go with that, with the silver scarf. I'm sure you'll look fabulous
