Double wear light new formula!

Thought I had found the perfect foundation for my skin and then they brought out a new version which I don't like at all!! Why Estée Lauder did you have to change the formula? I know there were limited shades in original and they increased variety but new one is much more Matt & heavier & my skin is not as dewy/ fresh looking. Just wondering what other people have tried that gives a similar finish to the original as I am on the lookout for a new foundation😩

I’m no help but just came on to mark my place and say yes yes totally agree! I hate hate hate the new version. The old DW Light was perfect for me!

I tried the Dior one - it comes in a matte and a ‘glow’ range but while the colour was better than the new ELDW, the formula didn’t suit me.

I have the Chanel Velvet lumiere and I like it but the colour is definitely not as good as my old ELDW. I’m old ELDW light, intensity 2.0 and somewhere between a Chanel 2 and 3. It is nice make up tho.

I would love a cheaper version but have never found one.

Have you tried the new No7 one- hydraluminous? Good coverage and a dewy finish. I really like it! Xxx

This is a tinted moisturiser rather than foundation but it's got a really good coverage.

Wore DW light for years, happily! Hate the new formulation, have stopped using it now, new one is being sold for 24/hr wear, yet your supposed to take make up off for bed lol!hate it

I didn't like the new formulation DW Light. I'm now using the new Lancome Teint Idole Ultrawear Nude. I prefer it to DW Light and I've had lots of compliments on how great my skin is looking since I made the switch.

Same here... don't try CT Magic Foundation!!!

Clinique have a new foundation which sounds promising Even Better Refresh Hydrating & Repairing foundation. I think I'm going to get a sample.

BrilliantYou what's wrong with CT Magic foundation? I had a sample and thought it was quite nice, used with current Clinique anti redness though. Was going to purchase but don't want to waste my money!!

I have CT Magic Foundation and I love it far better than my ELDW

I loved the CT Magic Foundation sample but after buying it and using it for a while it seemed to dry my skin out. It just wasn't Matt enough for me and seemed to settle in my pores and slipped/didn't last all day.
