After years of acne, my skin is clearer but now my chin looks awful reddish mauve whereas the rest is pale. What would help?I find Laura Mercier concealer good but quite expensive.

It’s post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, I have it too. It should fade in time but azaelic acid helps too.

You need to wear proper sunblock to help it fade.

IPL can help with this, but you’d need a few treatments. Also, do you wear sunscreen every day? If the answer is no, you should be- that will help with fading the marks. I’m addition, a glycolic acid product will help fade the marks- I like the pixi glycolic pads xx

I offer microdermabrasion on clients with scars over time it really fades them.

Thank you. I was thinking of microdermabrasion. Luckily the skin is not pitted at all.
