DD2 is bride and I am mother of said bride.
Her dress is very plain and softly draped. no lace, frills or bling. she want shoes which are "different, whimsical, maybe a bit sparkly to offset the dress, and not too expensive!". She normally wears high but is going to go a bit lower for the sake of comfort. Doesnt want to spend a lot. For the evening dancing she is, apparently, going to wear "converse or just my socks!".
My outfit is dove grey with a hint of lilac. Long coat, skirt and top. I have plum coloured hair and wondered if burgundy shoes/bag would go? I cant wear heels but don't want to look frumpy. I NEED comfort but have slim legs and ankles so something which looks elegant.
