My dd is 4 and LOVES having her nails painted. But shes not good at sitting still so it almost always smudges. Using the hairdryer to dry the nails doesnt help much. Would one of those nail dryer lamp things be a good solution? Ive never tried one. We use old fashioned nail varnish because I dont really understand what gel is. If you could explain that to me too I would really appreciate it.

The nail dryers you refer to are for curing gel nails. They will not be suitable for the products you are using nor for the fingers of a small child.

You can buy quick dry top coat.

The 60 second polishes might be the answer ?
