Fake tan

I'm ridiculously pasty, I'm naturally very pale anyway but I really think I'd look better with a hint of colour, but I don't think I've used any fake tan / moisturising tanning stuff for about 15 years.
Can anyone recommend something that's easy to use and just gives a bit of healthy colour, not towie orange?

I use Dove gradual tan? X

Thank you. I think I'll try something like that. Use a lot of other dove products so makes sense

Skinny tan is fab. They have a massive range - I have tried their oil, cream and gradual tan and they are all lovely. Really easy to apply with no patches and smells ok too.

I found Dove prone to streaks. I like Palmer's cocoa butter body lotion. There's a dark and a light option. I use the light option and the tan looks very natural and doesn't tend to streak.

Thanks ladies! Maybe I won't do dove....

Bondi Sands is great, a really lovely colour, not orange at all.

JasperTheFriendlyGhost · 12/04/2019 20:43

I found that the Dove gradual tanner smells vile. Kept me up all night. The best gradual tanner i’ve used is the Garnier Summer Glow or the best fake tan i’ve used is St Moritz.

eggofmantumbi · 12/04/2019 21:41

I'm assuming gradual tanner would be the best way for me to go being so pasty!

Argh I don’t get streaks at all with the Dove? I do use a tanning mitt? It does have a definite smell tho.
Garnier wasn’t good for me, I’m so pale and it was too orangey x

Another vote for bondi sands, I like the mousse

KittyWindbag · 13/04/2019 12:15

Bondi sands for a proper fake tan, and garnier summer glow for a gradual tan. Cannot go wrong. Both great products without terrible streaking.

Lifeaback · 13/04/2019 17:31

Another vote for bondi sands here- not even the slightest bit orange. I’ve always found the dove one to be orange and prefer to use an actual tan rather than a gradual one as you can see it going on so no streaks and it doesn’t get patchy as it fades

beanaseireann · 13/04/2019 20:21

My goodness the Bondi Sands stained the bed sheet.
Tan was ok. A little pale and I used the medium.

eggofmantumbi · 13/04/2019 21:16

Hmmmm it's looking like maybe Bondi sands then? Thanks ladies!
