New trainers tips

I have a brand new pair of stan smiths which I did buy wanting something more supportive than my converse. I like them and think they have potential but the leather is stiff and I don't have much patience for breaking them in. They're like a new pair of DMs and they weren't cheap so I need to persist!

Does anyone have any tips please?

Ooh what type are they?

I got two pairs of Stan smiths this week - I have stupidly wide/square feet, and read on Mumsnet that they’re good for wide feet. I bought periwinkle blue leather ones and couldn’t believe I’d found shoes that are comfy out of the box, but the colour is a bit too summery just yet. So went back to the Adidas website and got some charcoal grey nubuck ones for half price which came today and I completely adore. Neither of these are stiff leather, I’m wearing the grey ones just now.

Sorry I’m not much help, I’m just so pleased with my new shoes and as there seems to be different types of SS I wondered if anyone else has the same type that you’ve got x

Oh yours look nice. Mine are just plain white.
