Lipstick topper no longer available?

For years I have been using a Max Factor Lipfinity lipstick topper. I found it really good for keeping my lipstick in place, no imprints on coffee cups, glasses etc etc.
When I went to buy a new one I found that it’s no longer available on its own- only in a pack combined with a lipstick.
Does anyone know of an alternative, or have you seen the topcoat on sale anywhere without the accompanying lipstick?
And if anyone from Max Factor is listening- foolish move!!!!!!!! Some marketing ‘genius’ no doubt thought this was a brilliant idea but you are in fact losing sales. I do not want to be coerced into buying a lipstick every time I need a new tube of topcoat. I, like most women, use a variety of different lipsticks and see this as a cynical, but ultimately self-defeating, marketing ploy.

You can still get Lipcote. Elizabeth Arden also do one but good old Lipcote is better imo.

Thanks. How have I never heard of Lipcote? I asked an assistant in Boots and she couldn’t suggest an alternative to the Max Factor one. Duh!!

You're probably not old enough! We all slapped it on in the 70s and 80s! It stings a second or two at first but it's brilliant.

Lipcote is totally different to the max factor top coat

Like you, I’ve always topped up on top coat separately- esp when Boots have the buy 2 get 1 free max factor promotions!

I remember my mum using Lipcote. I tried it once as a little girl and it burned my lips! Can't be good for you. Never again!

I love lipcote. It works better for matte lipsticks, ok with sparkly or slightly shiny, but not really with a gloss.
It's usually in random places in Superdrug or boots though. Sometimes with makeup, sometimes where the false nails are. You have to look around.

Loads of the one you want on ebay. You could stock up on it.
