Summer coat/jacket

Hi all

Really need some help, what coat/jacket are you wearing now that the weather has started to get a bit more summer like??

I'm sat on the bus in my winter coat and sunglasses looking through ASOS but I just don't know what I'm looking for.

I want a jacket that's smart enough for work (so not denim), but that I could also pair with jeans at the weekend. Everything online seems to be either not work appropriate, or a bit too busy so that it would need to 'go' with the rest of your outfit rather than just being able to be thrown on with everything.

Any ideas please?

Fave places to shop are ASOS, H&M, New Look, Next and River Island but live in a major city so have access to pretty much every shop.

Following! On my commute this morning ami saw a woman in a 3/4 length leopard print single breasted coat which I think would look great with work wear or with jeans but I'm scared to go full leopard

I ordered this last night as a light jacket. Have been pretty disappointed with white stuff the last few years though so not sure how it will pan out.

I've had a look on the Uniqlo site , there's a few jackets on there (like a short trenchcoat style ) that I have my eye on.

@Acunningruse I love the look of that but it'd class that as a winter coat!! Going to have a look if there's something in that style but a different material
