Best nail polish?

florriepeck · 08/04/2019 12:44

Been having regular gel manicures for a couple of years, but am now in a job where nail polish can't be worn (HCP uniform policy).
So I will be just doing my own nails when I want some colour, but have no idea which are the best brands to use for easy application and a lasting finish.
All I have at the moment is an Essie Ballet Slippers, but I like all colours.
Any tips appreciated: don't mind high end or budget buys.

I like china glaze, sally hanson, essie and barry m. I really go more for a colour than a brand. Dont buy chanel they are rubbish £20 and ive had £2 ones that are better.

OPI was my go to and is still excellent but I love Mavala.

I second OPI being brilliant, its my go to and the range of shades is fantastic. I've got some OPI polishes which are several years old and the consistency and colour are still perfect, they haven't glooped at all.

I always use Seche Vite as a top coat as it makes any polish look great and its very hard wearing.

I also second Chanel being rubbish, total waste of money.

OPI, China Glaze or Essie.

I used to love OPI but literally, the only ones that won't chip for a few days are Rimmel 60 Seconds. Cheap as chips too so I have nearly every colour!
