I love this dress! Is it ok to wear to a wedding? What shoes? Are my DMs a big no no?! Grin

I’d LOVE your outfit if it was my wedding Grin

It's lovely, but you need strappy shoes / sandles IMO.
On the other hand, if the bride isn't massively traditional and she's the one you know, she knows your style etc maybe FM's are fine. It wouldn't have bothered me if I know thats what makes my friend feel good rather than someone grabbing any old shoes cos they didn't care

That's pretty.

I think you're joking about the DMs, but seriously, if that's your style then go for it!

A relative wears dresses and DMs laced with lots of different colour ribbons and it looks awesome

Yes with shoes like this.

Thanks all! I was half joking about the DMs! I love heels but not sure if I can wear them for 10+ hours! Could I bring a sneaky pair of flats to change into?
Also, should I be wearing something on my head? It's quite a posh wedding of a close friend; however, I am not posh! Grin

Lovely dress, wear shoes you're comfortable in from the off. Always think it's a bit odd when people start dancing about in bare feet or flip flops later in the evening.
