Hi ladies,

I’ve been lurking around Mumsnet looking for work wardrobe suggestions and stumbled upon Winser London.

Fell in love with the look of their clothes but it’s really hard to tell what the actual sizing is and the quality of the materials vs the cost.
We moved to Canada a year ago, therefore returns will be a nightmare and pretty pricey, any tips are welcome...

Size wise - 5 ft 4, hourglass, 32D, 154kg, size 6 in LK Bennett work dresses

Sorry- you are a size 6 LK Bennett but weigh 154 kg? There’s surely a typo in there, or tell me your secret?

I've got a fair bit from them, I'm a size 10 and the sizing seems true to size. I'd say they are best for slightly taller women, I'm 5' 8" and the trousers are perfect in length for me. The quality is excellent, particularly the knits.

She's in Canada, it will be a US 6, ie a UK 10!

I wear a lot of Winser for work. The quality is bloody brilliant and it washes like a dream. I do find the styling a bit breakfast TV though.

I know what you mean about breakfast tv Doom, you do have to be quite selective, but I've had some really great stuff from them.

To clarify, size 6 UK (very rarely size 8 UK... think super fitted Reiss dress, but always 6 UK for trousers). American/Canadian sizing is still a bit of a mystery to me but varies from 0 to 2.

Weight wise - 54 kg/8.5 stone

I remember seeing the Winser London pop up store right before we moved last year at the Duke of York Square and really wish I was walked in!

The sale right now is pretty decent and justifies the shipping cost!

You're welcome. Fit is true to size as long as you're truthful to size. Might have a little work wardrobe top up myself.
