I go to the perfume counters and everything starts to smell the same, and I end up with 50 scented slips of card in my hand.please help me narrow down to what I might like?
I love Jo Malone peony and blush suede, English pear and freesia those type. Hate lime basil and mandarin.
I also like Dior Joy, have just finished a bottle of that.
I realise JM is a bit shite, but I love the smells.
What should I be looking at?
Any tips very gratefully received, as my bday is coming up and I can give mega tips, Grin.
TIA.

I’ve just got the Peony and Blush suade from my DH for my birthday and I love it! Could be a new favourite 😊

Fragrantica is a great site - you can look at the notes in perfumes you already like and find others that smell alike. A good perfume hall should also be able to ID a few to try properly - you need to spray on your skin to get a proper scent (so 4 at a time - both wrists, both inner elbows). If you are near London Bloom perfumery will give great advice - they also sell online and put together sample packs of ‘scent family’ perfumes - floral, smokey etc so you can narrow down what you like.
