My appearance has changed, what should I wear?

I’ve developed a curve at the top of my spine due to a bone condition & have shrunk several inches - consequently my shape looks about 5 decade ago older than I actually am.

I can no longer find clothing to suit me - size 8/10, previously tall but now average. I’m a casual dresser but even finding jeans and a t-shirt to fit well seems impossible.

Does anyone have any advice on styles which may suit?

No style advice but a Pilates class, twice a week, would be a good idea.

AND, more important, an appointment with your GP.

What about the ‘Seasalt’ look; tunics, 3/4 length leggings and slightly longline cardigans? Prints are less harsh than solid colours and you can layer up with longline base tops/camis.

Annabk, thanks, layering is a good idea that I haven’t tried.

XingMing - no medical advice needed, but thanks anyway.

Happy to hear that @Hero.

You might want to get a few good quality T-shirt’s and get them tailored to allow for your new shape so they fit you better.

Would scarves help? They might be able to hide/balance the curve you now have and can easily give jeans and a tee a new look.

I would also experiment with different rises of jeans to see if that helps with the fit.
