Hi,

I've bought a denim dungaree dress, wanted one for ages.

It fits lovely but I'm endowed in the breast dept.

The dress just seems to emphasise my top half Sad

How can I balance myself out what kind of top do I need to put underneath it ????

Perhaps it's like high necks and big boobs - they just don't work together. Wouldn't stop me though!

Maybe try very dark tops under it so as to "diminish" the appearance of what's underneath? I may be talking bollocks of course Grin

FrozenMargarita17 · 06/04/2019 14:53

I would second dark tops underneath. I also wonder if a pattern might disguise it somewhat? I'm sure it looks lovely though - I see myself differently to everyone else so I think everything looks awful on me.

WeakAsIAm · 06/04/2019 15:23

Thanks may try dark tops.

Just doesn't sit how I wanted it too, I thought the bid would help disguise the bust Sad

You need it a lot more oversized to work.

lovinglifexo · 06/04/2019 16:17

oversized

lovinglifexo · 06/04/2019 16:17

sorry, oversized would make it look better I think

Ofthread · 06/04/2019 16:45

The 'bib' part has to hang straight down from where it meets the boobs.

anyoldvic · 06/04/2019 16:48

Agree that its too snug. Smooth tops would look better than patterned/textured underneath

Ellapaella · 06/04/2019 16:55

A thin plain top would work better underneath, avoid patterns generally but a Breton too would work.

hopeishere · 06/04/2019 16:57

As a fellow large busted lady I don't think this type of dress works.

You could try it with a thinner / plain top.

WeakAsIAm · 06/04/2019 17:40

Yeah I see what you mean, thanks for the replies x

Id do thin top but put a cardi over it too maybe, longline cardi on me seems to make me look thinner/balanced

BusterGonad · 07/04/2019 03:10

I don't think that style of dress suits you at all, but what may help us wear a plain thin top underneath and get a better quality more structured dress. The thinness of the one you've purchased doesn't help at all. Also dark denim is way more flattering and will look so much better on you.

BusterGonad · 07/04/2019 11:03

Something like this, dark denim, structured, with shape and the buttons will elongate your body making you look taller and slimmer.

I like that one, not sure I will carry it off to the same level, I'm at least 5 st heavier than the model GrinConfused

Thanks
