What next after white blonde?

Following complete hair loss from chemotherapy I've had a white blonde short crop for about a year and although I love it, I'm starting to get fed up with 3 hours in the salon every 6-8 weeks. My roots are very dark but my natural colour at shoulder length was mousy brown. I want to stay short but would like an easier colour - on the lighter side. What do you experts recommend? Thanks!!

Not sure it's exactly what you had in mind but muted metallics look fantastic.

Thanks Peg! I've done a search and found some gorgeous colours, so will have a chat at the salon to see what's feasible.

I've just gone from bleach blonde to more golden/bronze highlights for the same reason!

I think this is fabulous. It's redken.

Great @niceupthedanceagain So how long do you spend in the chair now?!

Still around 2-3 hours but only once every 3 months instead of every six weeks! Also another reason I stopped was because the scalp bleach was burning my head and I wanted my time in the hairdressers to be a relaxing experience again!

Yes I was white blonde for a while I've now gone for a colour similar to ruggeyken's.
My roots are less visible probably a similar colour to you naturally.
So I can get away from regular hairdressers appointments.
I do love the ginger tinge and it does look natural on me.
