Spots that have finished hurting but linger for weeks?!

I get these-very deep under the skin. They are agony for days, then stop hurting but stay lump like and inactive for ages afterwards until they finally shrink away to nothing!!

Is there anything I can put on them to hurry them on their way?!

oh I wish I knew! the last couple of months have been awful - I believe in my case its menopausal, but I never had bad skin until now and its horrible!

Another here.
Big painful lumps that don't come to anything, and don't properly go.

Pop a blister plaster on them overnight, won't make them magically disappear but helps shift them faster! Boots or Asda own brand are fine

AdvancedAvoider · 05/04/2019 09:47

Could be acne rosacea. The lumps can be excruciatingly painful and take weeks to go.

I second popping a blister plaster on it overnight. Magic. However it needs to contain hydrocolloid. That’s the ingredient to look for.

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/04/2019 13:54

See your dr, spots shouldn’t be that sore.

RosaWaiting · 05/04/2019 13:57

I was wondering if it was safe to put hydrocolloid plasters on these as well....sounds like it might be worth a try.

Yes sounds like my rosacea spots. I'm back on the anti-biotics to get shot of mine.
