Best face wipes?

ryanreynolds · 04/04/2019 13:44

I'm pregnant and just starting to think about packing my hospital bag.

I want to treat myself to some luxurious face wipes - usually go for Simple ones, occasionally Nivea.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Happy to splurge if it's worth it!!

Any other beauty recommendations for hospital bag whilst I'm here...?!

Can’t suggest anything that you’ve not tried, but I’d pack some lovely hand cream. A delicate fragrance and good after frequent hard washing.

Bioderma?

Take your own pillow!

I use WaterWipes to clean my make up off.
99% water

I would get yourself a lovely cleansing balm instead of wipes - they can be so drying for your skin.

You can get ones you can remove with cotton wool

LovingLola · 04/04/2019 23:39

Please consider ditching wipes completely. They are so bad - both for your skin and the environment.
Switch to a balm and reusable cloths.

I use these in the morning now I have two under two and no time in the mornings: www.cultbeauty.co.uk/nuface-prep-n-glow-cloths.html

MaltbyMaeve
Are they one use only disposable wipes ?

Lamentations · 05/04/2019 09:19

Lola I agree about wipes generally but this is specifically for a hospital bag and even I'd pack wipes.

ChicCroissant · 05/04/2019 09:24

Agree with hand cream, also lip balm (can be hot and drying).

Really not the time or place to push your opinion on wipes, Lola Hmm

tadpole39 · 05/04/2019 09:30

Lola I’m with you, it’s got to the point now where we don’t have any time left to put things right as regards sustainability and care for the planet. We all have to act now, or the new baby won’t have any kind of a future.

ryanreynolds · 05/04/2019 09:51

Thanks all for the recommendations, will have a look and order some.

@LovingLola I am a balm and cloth user at home but want something easy specifically for hospital bag.

Will have a look around for some nice hand cream too!
