I’m feeling rubbish post baby and need an image boost.
What beauty products, if any, are worth investing in & what should I buy cheap?

In particular, are salon shampoos worth it?!

Yes they are. I use L'Oréal vitamino color, it's often on offer in Tkmaxx.

I use loads of cheap stuff but for luxury the best skincare product known to humanity is Renaissance Mask by Oskia.

It is diviiiiiiine.

Hask shampoo is really nice and you can get it in Boots, Superdrug and Waitrose. £7 a bottle but often on offer somewhere.

My hair has been in much better condition since I switched to using salon shampoo. I use tigi urban antidotes 2, I buy it in Home Bargains and pay £6.99 for a large 750ml bottle.

Aveda Shampure

Very ££ but if I have a bottle of this I don't tend to buy other random bottles that really don't compare (not a fan of the conditioner though)

Need to find a way to keep it out of DS sticky little paws though .

Philip kingsley shampoo and conditioner or cheaper option body shop shampoo and conditioner. Body shop cleansers and masks are great and normally offers on website.

Temple spa for luxury face creams, elizabeth arden retinol capsules are gorgeous (pink, ones) and i think debenhams would give you a week sample.

I love a nice shower gel, really brightens my mood. Noble, isle willow song is my fav or a nice rituals foam.
