Inspired by another thread where everyone is recommending sunglasses to look more "together", I am going to update mine.

But I have no idea which styles are "in" at the moment. Please show me your sunglasses for further inspiration!

I've got 2 pairs of Rayban Wayfarers, can't beat them for the lenses and they don't date. One for my handbag and one for the car!

I've just bought these

www.tkmaxx.com/uk/en/women/big-brand-delivery/transparent-preppy-sunglasses/p/13117017

and I'm on the look out for a cats eye now. I have quite a collection and have retired my Wayfarers for a while because they feel a bit dated having been my go to for a couple of years.

What's your face shape OP?
If you're oval or round you can pretty much get away with anything!

Between oval and round I would say.

I love those transparent glasses but not sure if I could pull them off! Can you return them if bought online?

I'm a huge sunglasses fan, these are three I've got on rotation at the mo

I definitely want ones that will sit on top of my head when necessary and not keep slipping down.

I've previously had some Wayfarer style ones so would like something a bit different but don't know what. Are big lenses still current?

Keenwasalad Perhaps I need multiple pairs too?! Like the bottom pair especially.

The bottom pair are great because they have a fully moulded frame and not those annoying nobbly bits that sit on your nose bridge. The nobbly bits yank chunks of my hair out when I put my sunglasses on top of my head !

Alsohuman · 03/04/2019 14:01

You can return them. Check out what else they've got. I drooled over those in Liberty but refuse to pay £250 + for sunglasses, I nearly cried when I saw them for £40!

littlecabbage · 03/04/2019 14:25

keenwasalad Good point re the knobbly bits getting tangled in hair. I'll take that into account.

Alsohuman Thanks - I would never have thought of looking in TKMaxx online (didn't know it existed tbh) and am now going to look through and order several pairs to try on at home. Feeling excited now!
