Casual everyday spring tops/lightweight sweaters??

Where to look for reasonably good quality casual everyday tops to wear with jeans that wash well and fit nicely? Thinking long or 3/4 sleeve, tops or lightweight sweaters.

Having just thrown away about 10 that had seen better days so urgently need at least 5 to see me through.

I already have a Seasalt Breton and a couple of basic long sleeve v necks from gap.

Any ideas??

i buy the 12.99 ones from Zara and they have lasted a couple of years so far with repeated washing! would def recomment. Also Uniqlo cotton jumpers are long wearing.

What are the Zara ones - long sleeved tops? Didn't think to look at uniqlo so thanks!

Also interested in recommendations for non basic tops too. Something a bit more interesting.

I bought some Uniqlo extra soft merino wool jumper n love it they r so soft n take such little space.. very handy to keep in your bag but i think they need hand wash as one of them bobbled up after machine wash.

I would like to find some of these too but i am a size 16 and everything i see is too short or too clingy. I like natural fibres and loads of tops seem to be made of that horrible slippy polyester material.

I really don't know where slightly plump people in their 50's are supposed to shop these days. Maybe that question is for a different thread.

H&M has some nice stuff in larger sizes that's not too mumsy.
