I've not seen a thread like this in a while!

My wardrobe is the equivalent of Groundhog Day so I need some inspiration to spark it up a bit, especially with regards to accessories!

Grey Next skinny jeans
Black plain H&M t-shirt
Pale pink cardigan as it's still pretty chilly here
Pale pink converse

Dark pink men's Superdry hoodie

Over my pjs & ugg style slippers.

I bought the hoodie when I was fat as women's hoodies didn't fit me very well.
Now I've lost weight it's my go to for comfort when I'm not well!
Or sometimes I wear it over my work uniform or to the gym.
It doesn't look too masculine because of the colour!

Ellapaella · 16/04/2019 15:48

Green Top - Red Chilli
Gap girlfriend jeans
Cherry red DM's with red tights under
Wooden Hoop earrings - Hush
One day I'll wear something other than jeans but is not warm enough yet!

Ella I like your look, it’s the kind of casual style I was hoping for during my maternity leave but I don’t think I’ve quite nailed it. Grin

I think I have a not dissimilar figure to you (I’m 5”7 and size 8) but my stomach is not flat after having a baby in the last year . I think I need to wear less tight fitting clothes - I think that’s where you are getting it right & I am getting it wrong - I am tending to wear clothes that are too tight and not flattering even though I have a decent enough figure . I think the clothes you wear skim your figure nicely whilst being flattering

Ellapaella · 16/04/2019 17:01

@Del1lahdaydream absolutely- I've had three DC, two by c section and have a bit of an overhang/Apron going on. I can't get away with anything that hugs around the waist line and my lower tummy needs clothes that skim over it.

small2018 · 16/04/2019 18:07

I like the hoop earrings @Ellapaella!

I'm the same - always wearing loose tops due to c section overhang nothing to do with all the food I keep eating

Atalune · 16/04/2019 19:41

8ellapella. How do you master a good selfie?! I would post a pic but I am dreadful at selfies!!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 16/04/2019 20:07

Black leather skirt - White Company
Rainbow striped high neck jumper - Topshop Boutique
Black opaques, black Stan Smiths

Ellapaella · 16/04/2019 20:10

@Atalune I'm probably just a shameless poser Grin
I think it's to do with the angle of my mirror - it's on a stand so it kind of tilts backwards. I hold my camera slightly raised and pointing downward (very slightly), seems to have quite a slimming effect.

Atalune · 16/04/2019 20:51

Tilt you say.....slimming you say? Hmmmmm, I shall have a footer with it.

Del1lahdaydream · 17/04/2019 10:14
