Clothes from ‘And Other Stories”?

Are they worth the money?

I’ve been looking at the website and I love the style but it’s quite pricey. There isn’t a store near me so I will have to order online.
Do others rate them? And how do the sizes come up?

Very niche question but I have a long body and many high waisted trousers pull at my crotch as they are too short. Any tall people able to comment on whether this brand caters for long or short bodies?

I have a few things from Other Stories (all bought in the sale and I am happy with them.

For good work dresses though my go-to is Boden (in the sale also). I know some people on MN hate it, but I like fitted jersey dresses and they always have some lovely ones

I visited the website for the first time yesterday and quite liked a lot of the stuff. Unlike Cos which is all so foul (or maybe it's the zombie-model-pose thing) it makes me shriek with laughter. Oh yes!We all need an over-sized rust coloured sack for the summer!

Agree with Boden still being go-to for certain things though, once you've dug past the Maria-Von-Trapp curtaining fabrics it's still good stuff that lasts for years.

Shriek with laughter Okay........

I wear a lot of Cos but appreciate it isn’t for everybody.

I did read on another thread that in real life and in the shops it looks different.

If it's any consolation my footwear is being dissed elsewhere on S&B!

I like Cos too but their website is a crock of shit and there's no excuse for it.

I think & Other Stories is kind of like the anti Cos. The website looks good but when you see it all in real life, it disappoints.

I like & other stories dresses, also found Urban Outfitters do a nice line in midi dresses at a reasonable price

Doilooklikeatourist · 01/04/2019 20:46

I’ve bought a couple of dresses ( evening summer dress and dress to wear to DDs graduation )
Both lovely , and I wore the summer dress a lot last year
I’m about 5 ft 6 , so not tall , and find the length fine

COS = dystopian dictator
Other Stories = vlogger

Just discovered 'other stories' but bought new and cheaply from eBay.
Different experience to some posters. I'm a size 8 and short. Dress is slightly tight on the top but not overly so. Dress doesn't crease when I wear it, feels very modern, great fabric and is fully lined. Cost, new with all tags, £21.00 including postage.

Ive just bought a foundation from there and i will see how it goes. Their make up and smellies seem reasonable and i could spend hours in there. Their clothes done come near ny 36h’s unfortunately.
